iMesure privacy policy

What data we keep when you contact us or give us a job, what we use it for, who receives it and how you exercise your rights.

This iMesure privacy policy explains what personal data we process when you contact us, ask for a quote or have us carry out drafting work on commission or a site survey. We only ask for what we need to handle your enquiry and your job. We do not sell your data. The policy follows the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR, known in Dutch as the AVG).

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is:

CONSELIS bv, trading as iMesure
Dronckaertstraat 259, 8930 Lauwe, Belgium
VAT BE 0785.705.146
info@imesure.com

You can send any question about your data to that email address.

What data do we process?

We only process data that you provide yourself or that we record during the job:

  • Through the enquiry form: your name, company (if you fill it in), email address, the number on which we can call you, the municipality where the project is located, your preferred timing, your description of the job and the services you select.
  • By email: your contact details, what you write to us and any attachments you send.
  • Plans and photos you provide: sketches, existing plans, building drawings, PDFs or photos that we need for the drafting work or the site survey. These may show an address or a name, for example.
  • During a site survey: photos of the space, as documentation for the measurements and the drafting work.
  • For quotes and invoices: the billing address and, for businesses, the VAT number.

We need your contact details to reply to your enquiry. Without them, we cannot send you a quote.

What do we use your data for?

We only use your data for the purposes below. Each purpose has a legal basis under the GDPR.

Carrying out the job: drafting work, site survey, delivery and questions afterwardsPerformance of the contract

You can object to this last purpose at any time. We will then stop that communication.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data for as long as it is needed for your enquiry or job. If an enquiry does not lead to a job, we delete the data as soon as we no longer need it. We keep the plans, photos and drawings from a job for as long as they are needed for questions or changes after delivery. Invoices and the data on them are kept for the statutory retention period that applies to accounting records.

Who receives your data?

We do not sell or rent out your data. Only the parties below may receive it, and always for the purposes described above:

  • Processors that give us technical or administrative support, such as our hosting and email providers. They only process your data on our instructions.
  • Government bodies, such as the tax authorities, where the law requires it.

We only use the plans, photos and drawings you provide for your own job.

Does this website use cookies?

This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. We do not follow your browsing and we do not build a profile of you. The site’s fonts are loaded from our own server, so your browser does not connect to an external font service to display them.

What are your rights?

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • have the processing of your data restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a commonly used format or have it transferred to another party.

Send your request to info@imesure.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so that we do not give data to the wrong person. We reply within the statutory period of one month. Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, can only be erased once the statutory retention period has ended.

If you disagree with the way we handle your data, please let us know first. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If our working methods or the law change, we will update this policy. The version on this page is always the one that applies.

Drawings to produce or a space to survey?

Send us what you already have: a sketch, drawings, photos or the address. You receive a quote that states what we draw or measure and in which format you receive it.
